Founded to unite the Ubulu-Uku diaspora in the United States, UBULU-UKU, U.S.A. (UUU) Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering community, supporting development, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ubulu-Uku. Through collaboration, education, and philanthropy, we empower individuals and create lasting impact within and beyond our community.

We strive to have a convention each year if possible
Convention host cities are rotated annually

Our main source of funding is through membership dues, levies, individual donations from internal and external outreach to different non-profit funding organization sources around the United States

UUU USA is governed by our Constitution and standing by-laws which are regularly reviewed and updated as needed

We currently have about 50 to 65 members across the United States

The theme of our Atlanta Georgia Convention event this year is (Fundraising for the refurbishment of Ubulu-Uku Community Maternity Wards and other worthwhile critical need projects.

In 2007 UUU USA spent $50K in putting up one big Teachers/Masters Office building space at old Anglican Grammar School Ubulu-Uku.

UUU USA have followed up with many other smaller projects like suppling T-shirts and bags to all secondary school students in the town

Members have also on individual basis continued to send supplies and provide meaningful shovel ready projects to certain sectors of the community

On the Education assistance project front, the Association has awarded a 4-5 year educational undergraduate Scholarship worth (#500,000.00) Naira to (Ms. Nancy Ben Odinakachukwu) to study Nursing at University of Benin for the 2018 Fall Academic Session. Funds have been disbursed each year based on the awardee meeting our laid down eligibility requirements

UUU USA just in (July 10th, 2018) completed and commissioned the 33 KVA electrification project at the Ubulu-Uku Government General Hospital at a total cost of approximately $30,000.00 USD.

In 2019 and 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic, our association mobilized over $15,000.00 Dollars in providing very critical food palliative initiative to the entire Ubulu-Uku town. This was a very popular initiative that garnered country wide commendations from various media organization across the country.

Additionally, UUU USA Association Leadership is continuing to explore opportunities with other local organizations on how best we can continue to support and promote worthwhile initiatives in our community.
